Camping is the best

We went camping with my brother's family down past Monticello, We had a blast. Jim set up a rope swing and the kids swung on that all day. Then we went for an adventures hike that was a little more than the little ones bargained for but we made it to some ruins called House On Fire. It was neat to see some ruins so up close. Teagan was so tired that he fell asleep while we hiked up there and all the way back. Later we went down to the river and had fun playing in the shallow water. We tried to just have them wade in it but after several "accidentally falling in" we just took off their clothes and let them enjoy themselves. Teagan loved the water even thou it was a little cool. He even tolerated a little sponge bath.
We only had one miss hap and that was when our new camera took a flying leap into the camp fire while roasting marshmallows. Quin was not about to loose our brand new camera and reached in and saved it. What an indestructible camera!!!!!!! Except for some miner scratches and a little melted plastic it still works great. All the pictures were still there. Kudos to Nikon Cool pics.
So all in all it was a great little vacation. I wish that we could do it more often. Thank to Nat and Jim for setting up their tent and letting us use it and thank to Marci and Benny for cooking for us and letting us use their water.
