24th Weekend

We went to Payson on the 24th and had a BBQ and watched some fireworks and did lots of sparklers. Sunday we headed up to Grantsville to visit Laurie and my Brother Jim who is in town from Virginia where he lives now.
We went to the hottest spot in Gville the Grantsville Reservoir. The kids had fun swimming in the Res. and later that evening we caught Crawdads. I am still the expert Crawdad catcher even 35 weeks preg. The kids wanted to taste them so we saved them in the bucket. While I was catching Crawdads Jim and Brandon tried a little fishing. They caught some small fish about 3 inches for the biggest. We kept them because they were small mouth bass and they don't want that species in the Res. My boys were so excited to touch the fish Teagan even held one by it's mouth like the real fishermen do. They plopped them in to the bucket with the crawdads and enjoyed watching the action. Crawdads like to pinch fish.
Later that night we boiled up the Crawdads and the kids tasted them. Jensen tried one and said that they tasted like popcorn. Teagan popped one into his mouth chewed happily for a bit and then started to gag. He spit it out and then later asked to taste another one. Braydon and Maddie ended up finishing them and declared them very tasty.
We came home Monday and had a BBQ at Jens house with Jim and Mom. It was an enjoyable and relaxing weekend. Sorry that I didn't get pictures. I am a major slacker.
